Interior Decoration Project

About 127 unemployed youth between the ages of 17 – 24 years from 4 communities in the Greater Accra Region have benefitted from the Interior Decoration project under the Youth Inclusive Entrepreneurial Development Initiative for Employment (YIEDIE), a project by MasterCard Foundation. These communities include Teshie, Accra Newtown, Amasaman and Nungua

The Youth Inclusive Entrepreneurial Development Initiative for Employment (YIEDIE) is a MasterCard Foundation Project that is designed to create opportunities in Ghana’s construction sector for the disadvantaged youth. It offers tailor-made training which will lead to the creation of employment for the youth and enable the youth to earn and increase their income and savings. High performing trainees have the opportunity to participate in free financial literacy sessions and take Technical Certification Exams after which they are awarded with Certificates.
